This week, our focus was on mental health. We discussed what mental health is and explored positive ways to look after our wellbeing. We talked about things that make us happy, such as exercise, spending time with family, being creative, and enjoying the outdoors.

We also learned about recognising different emotions, understanding that it’s okay to feel them, and finding healthy ways to manage big feelings.

For our activities, we got into groups to share our special items before working together to build a fantastic if not chaotic blanket den. Afterwards, we went outside to take deep breaths, blow bubbles, and play an emotion-themed game. We finished our week with a session of calm yoga.
