While the weather might have kept us from our planned nature walk this week, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits.

We started by chatting about the signs of spring, from budding flowers to nesting birds, before getting stuck into some fabulous bunny mask making.

We then had a Egg & Spoon Race before we scoured the area for hidden eggs.

Everyone hunted for an egg with their name on it, which they successfully traded in for a well-deserved treat.

We then had fun with a color and shape hunt, followed by a spring-themed version of our favorite game, Bug in the Rug.

It was a bittersweet evening as we said a fond farewell to some of our older Squirrels. While we are sad to see them go, we know they are going to be absolutely fantastic as they move up to Beavers. We can’t wait to hear about their new adventures.

We hope all our Squirrels and their families have a wonderful, restful Easter break. We’ll see you soon for more fun.

Have a great Easter break, everyone!
