We had a fantastic session tonight as our Squirrels explored the world of food.
We spent some time talking about the origins of food, learning where some food items come from including tonight’s ingredients.
Cheese: How it’s made from milk from cows.
Crisps: How potatoes are grown and transformed into crispy treats.
Tomato sauce is from tomatoes we grow.
After the learning, it was time for cooking! The drey got stuck in to make their own pizzas, which were topped to perfection. Of course, the best part was the tasting session afterward, followed by plenty of games.
It was also a very proud moment for the drey as we watched our newest Squirrels stand up and say their promises.
