It was a busy, badge-filled week at Squirrels.
To tick off those final requirements, we held an night of activty stations.
Camping Essentials
At one station the Squirrels practiced their decision-making by picking exactly what needs to go into a bag for a night camping.
Designing
We one station we designed “houses for a friend.”
Aiming High
Our mini-archers took aim. This station focused on focus and coordination at our archery range.
The Senses Challenge
We put our noses, hands and taste buds to the test with a mystery senses game. There were plenty of giggles (and a few cheating glances) as we tried to guess objects , scents and tastes.
Games & Celebrations
After the hard work was done, we played sleeping lions.
It was a proud moment fol as we handed out a huge pile of hard-earned badges. We also had the pleasure of welcoming a new Squirrel, who made their Promise in front of everyone.
