What a fantastic evening learning about the autumn harvest and celebrating the incredible work of our farmers.🌾
We started by learning all about the work of farmers, what they grow and shared during traditional Harvest Festival celebrations.
Next, we baked a classic apple crumble. The Squirrels had a great time rubbing together the flour, butter, and sugar to make the perfect crunchy topping, then we put it in the oven to bake until the top turned a beautiful golden brown. 🍏✨
While the crumbles were in the oven, we kept busy with a farm-themed scavenger hunt, finishing off a brilliant night by handing out some well-earned badges! 🏆
