Then you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
At The 42nd, we’re looking for adult volunteers to join us across ALL of our sections:
🐿️ Squirrels
🦫 Beavers
🐺 Cubs
⚜️ Scouts
🔥 Explorers
You don’t need to have been a Scout. You don’t need to know how to light a fire, read a map or tie a fancy knot.
What we’re looking for is people who are enthusiastic, reliable and ready to get stuck in.
You could be helping young people learn to camp, cook outdoors, explore, build confidence, try something completely new or simply have a brilliant time with their friends.
And yes… there’s plenty of opportunity to get out of the Scout hut and into the great outdoors! 🌳
The best bit?
You’ll be giving young people skills for life — while having some adventures of your own.
We provide support and training, and there are lots of different ways to volunteer. You can bring the skills you already have or learn something completely new.
