It is with sadness that I have accepted our Group Chair’s resignation due to ill health. Nigel has been with our group since the early 1990’s and we thank him for his service to the group.
This does however leave us with an important position to fill. Our Scout group is a registered charity and therefore needs to abide by certain rules to be able to operate. One of those rules is around the trustees of the group and as such, we must fill this vacancy to be able to operate within the rules and remain open.
We are not expecting anyone to sign up for over 30 years like Nigel has done, but we are appealing for anyone who would like to get involved and would be interested in this role.
